Job Role: Night Senior Care Assistant
Hours: Part Time
Pay Rate: £8.72, once training has been completed will rise to £9.00 per hour.
Location: Walmer House, Torquay TQ1

About the service:
Walmer House in Torquay, combine a friendly approach, with a professional service, with all care plans tailored to individual needs; a homely, residential care home offering support to elderly residents with varying levels of independence, some of whom are living with mild dementia.
About the Role:
Being a Night Senior Care Assist with Keychange, you will:
· Assist the people we support throughout the night;
· Encourage the people we support to live as independently as possible.
· Act as a mentor to Care Assistants;
· Maintain an environment that is appropriate to the needs of the people we support.
About you:
In order to be considered for the role of Night Senior Care Assistant, ideally you will have a minimum NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care, and similar experience working within a care home environment. However our great training, development, and support, means that we don't require you to have experience. What we do ask is that you are happy to put the needs of others first, that you believe in treating everyone as equals and have a kind and caring nature.
