About the home:
Tunstall Hall Care Centre

Once a Georgian country home for the Broughton-Adley family, Tunstall Hall sits on the outskirts of the Shropshire town of Market Drayton.

Built in three and a half acres of grounds surrounded by mature parkland, Tunstall Hall is a care home for older people. The striking galleried entrance hall and lounge at the heart of the home is a favourite area for residents to sit and chat and the large lounge, once a ballroom, has a beautiful ornate ceiling and uninterrupted views across the garden and farmland.

Our home has 29 single bedrooms, three of which with en-suite bathroom facilities, and 2 bungalows, the first with 1 bedroom and the other with 2. We have the latest equipment and facilities to ensure the health and safety of our residents who have restricted mobility.

The successful person will be joining a close-knit, friendly team who offer a quality service. We offer a full training and induction package.

As a General Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Some aspects of Domestic and Cleaning
• Laundry work
• Some Kitchen Assistant work.

It would be desirable to have:

• Previous experience of care work in a Hospital, Care or Nursing Home.
• A Passion for Care of the Elderly
