An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse on Ward 3, Harplands Hospital. Ward 3 is a dynamic, fast paced ward specializing in complex female mental health assessment. The Wards pathway is based on the acute care model, outlined in the report “Old problems New solutions” 2016.
Based on a 72 hour assessment process all our patients receive a comprehensive assessment delivered by a full MDT, with the focus remaining on independence & recovery.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent assessment and risk management plans, be able to demonstrate your ability to work as a team player, promote the rights of individuals to receive care that addresses their need in the community. Therefore, good communication skills are essential to the role, the role demands the ability to problem solve and find creative means of addressing individual’s needs.
