This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy, where air quality assessment is one of the key sectors. Due to growth of work load they now have an exciting opportunity for an Air Quality Consultant to join their existing team.
The role is based from their Chester / North Wales office. You will be joining a busy team where projects range from small modelling studies, through to complex air quality impact assessments of renewable energy developments. The work load is varied working on a diverse range of projects supporting planning and permitting applications. You will be involved in all aspects of project management and client liaison and must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, as well as technical proficiency and commercial acumen.
Ideally you will have two years + UK consultancy background, however applications from more or less experienced candidates will be considered. The role requires candidates to be able to demonstrate experience of technical monitoring, knowledge of dispersion modelling and excellent report writing skills. You will be an ambitious individual who can provide both technical and commercial input into the growing air quality team, as well as the wider business.
Air Quality Consultant Duties
• Undertaking of Air Quality Assessments.
• Dispersion modelling.
• Data analysis and interpretation.
• Preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
• Management of multiple projects.
Academically the successful candidate will have a relevant air quality or environmental sciences related degree. An appropriate Master’s degree and membership of the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institution of Environmental Sciences is also desirable, but not essential.
