This role will manage the Aruba EMEA marketing programs team that includes Pan-EMEA events, digital, social, customer first program and demand generation. This position will also play a pivotal role in enabling the business transformation to an “As-A-Service” company.
It is a marketing leadership role within the Aruba Business Unit reporting into the Senior Director of EMEA Marketing. There are currently 7 direct reports as well as strategic relationships with agency partners that support the demand generation model. This role interfaces with stakeholders in the EMEA field marketing team, channel marketing, marketing operations, communications and will include working with virtual teams in the US as well as EMEA.

•Manage a team of 7 direct reports that cover program design, campaign build and execution, social media, digital and our Customer First program
•Work with corporate program, branding and PSM teams on messaging and asset development to support the EMEA GTM strategy
•Ensure alignment with Aruba field marketing and other marketing groups within Hewlett Packard Enterprise and our ecosystem partners
•Manage the demand generation waterfall with close scrutiny on outcomes vs investments
•Amplify programs by working with the channel marketing team to ensure assets and messaging can be leveraged by channel partners
•Develop and secure approval for Go to Market (GTM) plans and budgets
•Strong alignment with EMEA Marketing Operations team.
•Direct cross-functional, cross organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets
•Define GTM metrics/goals benchmarks and track/report progress against them
•Develop closed-loop post-analysis for marketing programs and identify/execute indicated actions
•Develop offering and manage/monitor their delivery
•Develop/define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans and execute/monitor them
•Assist sales with development of sales training materials
•Develop/execute/evaluate marketing strategies and tactics that drive demonstrable revenue, share gains and customer/partner engagement
•Strong partner to sales account acquisition/development
•Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in marketing or related field
•10+ years marketing experience (including offering marketing, segment marketing or partner marketing)
•Established knowledge of program marketing with demonstrable examples of successful fully integrated campaigns with a clear ROI
•Strong background in “As-A-Service” marketing
•Experience of working in both software and hardware solutions companies
•Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
•Expert knowledge of advertising/direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures
•Extensive comprehension of Marketing automation and demand generation models
•Established knowledge of digital marketing and data analytics preferred
•Well-developed understanding of the industry, offering categories and (preferably) Aruba HPE offerings/strategy
•Strong project and budget management skills
•Excellent written/oral communications
•Fluent business English and experience of working with International teams
•Strong analytical skills
•Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams
•Excellent negotiating, influencing and consensus-building skills
•Conflict resolution skills
•Master of Business Administration (MBA) - preferred
•Agency, sales and/or channel experience – preferred
