How could you make a difference as a Senior Health Care Assistant with us?
Elmbrook Court Care Home opens in May 2021. Elmbrook Court will offer 65 superior private en-suite bedrooms and will provide the highest quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a five-star setting.
Our Senior Health Care Assistants play an important and highly visible role in overseeing and delivering the highest possible levels of care, improving the day to day lives of our wonderful residents. Taking up the role of line manager to our Care Assistants, you will be working with the Care Managers and trained Nurses in providing the Care Team with clear direction, training, development and support in their day-to-day tasks. As Senior Health Care Assistant you’ll also be pivotal in ensuring market-leading levels of companionship, daily activities, routines and personal care for residents.
Your impact won’t stop there though, the Senior Health Care Assistant will also be key in supporting family members and visitors by providing a friendly and knowledgeable presence whilst also carrying out basic care, clinical and nursing activities needed for residents - for example administering medication, providing personal care, pressure area care, nutritional intake and continence care in accordance with the individual Care Plans.

Hours: 42 hours per week
Salary: £10.81 per hour
