In a period of exciting change and development, we are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team in North Cumbria based at Penrith.
We offer a range of psychological therapies within the Psychosis and Non-Psychosis pathways including an established Personality Disorder pathway. We also work in close collaboration with partner agencies. The SMI IAPT developments are providing excellent opportunities for further development and increased provision of high quality care. You will be a Senior Psychologist or Psychological Practitioner in an established multi-disciplinary CMHART team covering the Eden area. This is a beautiful area of the country with instant access to the Lakes. It is also surprisingly well connected to major cities both North (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle) and South (Manchester).
You will be responsible for providing high quality evidence based psychological assessments, formulations and therapy in line with the clinical pathways used in the teams. You will provide advice, consultation and training to colleagues, and to other non-professional carers, on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care and treatment. In this role you will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. You will also receive your own regular supervision and CPD opportunities.'
