The historic Hadspen House, one of the most beautiful houses in Somerset, sits at the centre of the estate. The stylish and luxurious accommodation is complimented by the striking Botanical Rooms, a 75-cover restaurant. Open for breakfast through to dinner. Afternoon tea is served in the library, and the restaurant provides food service within the bar, all public areas and the guest rooms – delivering exceptional service throughout.
Not the classic Maitre’d position and certainly not the classic hotel restaurant. The Guest Relations Manager is a key figure within our house and restaurant team, who’s primary focus is on the guest and enhancing their experience across their stay.
You will require thorough knowledge of dining etiquette, have exceptional attention to detail and be fully invested in understanding our ethos, culture and F&B offering. This special role in guest relations, builds friendships – not only through one-on-one engagement but also encouraging guest interaction and educating of what our estate has to offer.
Managing restaurant reservations, hosting lunch and dinner services, ensuring guests are greeted and seated in the restaurant is the traditional side of the role. It is required you build a great rapport with the waiting team to create an exciting, friendly yet sexy service whilst upholding impeccably high expectations.
