About the Role:
The HR and OD Partner will manage, develop and implement HR projects or programmes to support organisational objectives with a strong focus on organizational development. There will be a strong focus on engaging and partnering with business managers to find HR solutions and programs to organisational issues. Providing a consultancy service to managers, using generalist expertise to coach and influence, and have the authority to drive and deliver change within the organisation.
About you:
You'll have the proven ability to facilitate organizational and team effectiveness.
Ability to think critically and strategically to influence the direction of the organization by demonstrating solid understanding of the direction of the business and anticipating needs and obstacles, as well as solve complex problems in a thoughtful and methodical manner. You are able to provide comprehensive and professional advice in Human resources in alignment with employment legislation and in respect of ConvaTec policies and ethics principles. You takes personal ownership/pride in delivering value to the organization and possess strong prioritisation skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with teams and leaders to facilitate organisational effectiveness and proactively address organisational challenges
- Facilitate/support change on an individual, group and organisational level to produce positive results and shape the organisation and culture, including organisational design, realignment, downsizing, and growth.
- Build credibility and trust and interact effectively with employees at all levels, demonstrating awareness of their needs, backgrounds and cultures. Leverage these networks and relationships to accomplish organisational objectives
- Lead a wide range of projects and initiatives, from inception to implementation.
- Provide generalist HR support including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employment Law and Employee Relations.
- Influence management to make appropriate assessments of employees and use consistency and best practice when recommending and implementing decisions.
- Enable employees with HR information ensuring accessibility and availability of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain policies and procedures in line with local employment legislation.
- Consistently develops people through coaching and counseling. Demonstrate and reinforce the Convatec Core Behaviours.
- Conducts thorough and careful review of data, gathers critical information and delivers quality and timely input to inform decision making.
- Provide pro-active support to the HR Director and to client group management team.
- Collaborates across the HR function, with team members across the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers and focuses on customer service. Participate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Organisatoin Development and HR Generalist background
- Educated to degree level and / or CIPD Qualified
- Proven experience in HR, with a combination of HR functional and Generalist experience.
- Experience within life sciences preferred
