Offering a comprehensive range of products that have been designed by parents, for parents they consistently invest heavily in ensuring their products provide practical parenting solutions, tested to the highest possible safety standards. Their impressive product portfolio includes nursery essentials as well as a range of toys for children to learn and play as they develop. Their customers are wide ranging from supermarkets, online and high street retailers.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced National Account Manager to manage and grow their national retail account portfolio, valued at c. £10m, in the UK. You will be responsible for maximising sales and marketing opportunities within these accounts in line with the company’s ambitious growth plans. Whilst managing the existing account portfolio, you will be responsible for the proactive development of new business opportunities, in accordance with the company sales plan, to deliver on key revenue targets. The role will require the provision of structured joint business plans to stimulate growth and brand exposure, preparing forecasts by product for each account throughout the year and closely monitoring achievements against sales goals, proactively developing corrective plans if necessary.
You will be responsible for managing a wide portfolio of customers ranging from grocers, e-commerce and high street retail.
You will be a dynamic and hands-on individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in the nursery, toys or allied product category. A successful, demonstrable background of national account management with major retailers in the UK is essential for this position, with a strong track record of building strong relationships with retailers across the UK. With a passion for new growing existing business whilst finding and developing new opportunities, you will have a strong and positive, solution oriented mindset with the ability to overcome obstacles as the company reshapes the brand in the market. Experience of working with and knowledge of Irish retailers will be a distinct advantage for this fantastic opportunity.
