Development of sales opportunities and account management of smaller value accounts within the UK; through protecting and developing existing accounts and prospecting for and securing new business.
In addition, supporting the sales function with more administrative duties including some support for the marketing function
·Maintain existing business and progress planned development of the Customer base in the region in line with the Company medium term plan.
·Prospect and develop new Customers, with the objective of new business accounting for 10% of regional turnover each year.
·Develop sales relationships and co-operation with other members of the UK sales group.
·Make a proactive contribution to Company market and technical planning process.
·Such other duties and tasks as are allocated to you at the discretion of the Company.
·Generates and processes new sales leads as necessary as well as updating and monitoring CRM.
·Making and answering phone calls from customers, addressing problems as they arise.
·Regularly following up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product.
·Ensuring Customer Satisfaction levels are at an appropriately high level
·Updating specification sheets and other materials with existing branding
·Making sure updated materials are organised efficiently in Teams
·Updating business cards – using InDesign template (easy to update)
·Ad hoc tasks for sales team i.e., updating presentations, comparison guide
·Sending marketing materials/merchandise to staff and customers when requested
·When new merchants come onboard, send a digital pack to them including key product images, brochures, logo, brand guidelines etc.
·Event support in line with Marketing department as required
·Updating the online portal to include company detailsAssisting the Marketing department with organising materials to be sent to Trade Shows
