We are looking for a leader with significant experience at a senior level in either an FE or Local Authority setting with a track record in raising standards and delivering an outstanding service.
You will have the ability to think strategically and translate strategic objectives into operational ones and have extensive knowledge of current national trends, policies and funding in adult learning.
You will also have experience of leading continuous quality improvement ensuring that quality standards and requirements of Ofsted and the Greater London Authority (GLA) are met. A key aim for the service will be to move towards being judged as an Outstanding provider of adult learning by Ofsted.
The post holder will represent the Council in the Learning and Skills Sector and play a key part in the redevelopment of the main site of Brent Start at Morland Gardens.
