Are you the right manager for them?
Previous Care Home Management experience is essential for a job of this nature, after all you will be building this home up from its foundations.
Ideally you will have your Registered Manager Award or NVQ Levels 4 or 5 in health and social care.
Previous commissioning experience would be beneficial, but not essential. If you are good at marketing your current home and filling beds, then this will come naturally to you.
Compliance is important, so a previous track record of 'Good' to 'Outstanding' CQC reports will hit the right note, or those that have been improved upon.
Cementing and building great teams will be in your DNA.
Initially this will be a small residential dementia home that will grow organically, they have some very big plans, as the plot is currently set on 3.5 acres of land.
With an initial package of up to £45,000 on offer, with a number of additional benefits and performance bonuses, there could be some room for negotiation for the right person.
