Our client is recruiting for a IT Support Apprentice to join their team in Telford.

The Company

They specialise in supplying mobile phones, VoIP and connectivity to businesses across the UK and are a name you can trust - we are an authorised supplier or BT, EE, O2, Vodafone, Gamma and Plan.com products. They are independent, which means they are free of many constraints that their competitors have to work under enabling them to be more flexible with there plans and give their customers a package that closely meets their needs regardless of provider. They also offer industry leading support with each customer having a dedicated UK based account manager who understands their business and can offer advice tailored to their business.


The Position:

Job Title: IT Support Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Infrastructure Technician
Location: Telford
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4.30pm with an hour for lunch
Salary: Wage £10,000 - £12,000 depending on experience


Job Purpose:

They are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking to grow their IT team. Full training will be provided and there is a genuine opportunity to develop and progress as the business grows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• First line support, running fault tests and identifying issues
• Providing both onsite and remote support to customers
• Liaising with both customers and engineers to arrange site visits
• Updating CRM system and arranging call backs
• Placing orders and managing client expectations

Knowledge & Experience:

• Essential: GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
• Outgoing personality
• Self-motivated
• Ability to build and maintain new business relationships
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other IT skills
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.

Future Prospects:

After full completion of the apprenticeship you will be offered a full time role in the company.
