The focus of this role is to support positive student engagement (both young people and adults). With the ability to bring a fresh and innovative approach, you will be keen to build effective networks across a diverse range of stakeholders with a strong focus on engagement and driving change.
We are looking for a Recruitment and Engagement Officer who is a good team player and passionate about ensuring that all students receive the best possible experience at our colleges and to transform the student experience across all stages of the student journey.
You will enjoy being part of a busy, dynamic, and supportive team. You will support promotion and delivery of an effective engagement and recruitment programme to various audiences and ensure successful collaboration, engagement and buy-in along the way. Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships is essential, as the role will act as a point of liaison internally and externally with key academic and professional services staff in delivering student engagement activities. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills are essential to ensure you can identify new opportunities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for designing, delivering, recording, and monitoring the success of a range of
recruitment and outreach activities with schools and the local community you will champion constant energy, a proactive attitude, a creative and innovative approach to work with the ability to come up with innovative and interesting ideas to engage prospective students. Our team are dedicated and passionate about giving our students a remarkable experience during their journey.
To be successful in the role, you need to have a track record of engaging audiences by producing compelling content, with scrupulous attention to detail and solid organisational skills, as well as the passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our students and ability to deliver a calendar of activities throughout the academic year.
You will deliver inspiring presentations to a range of audiences, including prospective
students, parents/carers and teachers, different student audiences (prospective, applicant and enrolled) through a range of activities, online channels, and media to increase applications, improve conversion rates and retention. Conversion activities, including open days, recruitment fairs and schools/colleges liaison. You will work closely with your team of Recruitment & Engagement Officers, Recruitment Coordinator, and the Marketing & Engagement Leadership Team as part of a larger Marketing function. We will give you the support and training that you need to succeed.
