"My husband stayed at this Care Home for respite care. He was assessed as requiring full nursing care and remained there for 18 months, until his death. He was well looked after by the staff. I was always made welcome when visiting him. He was dressed in his good clothes, hair etc kept smart to maintain clements of his old self before the Alzheimers. He was encouraged to join in activities to stimulate his fading brain and taken for outings when possible. It was obvious that staff were trained to remember visitors names to offer friendly support, with a listening ear and tea and coffee."
