This is a beautiful and independent, family-run residential home specialising in the care for the elderly. The home was also awarded a GOOD CQC report rating GOOD in all areas from its last inspection and is registered for up to 30 residents.
The home is located in pleasant surroundings offering a homely atmosphere along with a dedicated care team. All rooms are singles and all come with en-suites. All food is prepared for from scratch and the home is dedicated to providing their residents with the best quality local produce possible.

Job Role - Senior Healthcare Assistant
Hours - Full Time Days, 30-36 hours per week
Shifts - 6 and 12 hour shifts, mornings, lates and long days
Service - Residential Home
Pay - £10.20-10.50 per hour
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents *
To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach *
To provide leadership and support to the care staff * Shift leading on the floor *
Responsible for the administration of medication *
Liaise directly with families and friends offering them professional and emotional support
As a Senior HCA you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care. In this role you will work closely with teh Head of Care and other Senior Carers to take responsibility for medication administration and care plans amongst other duties.
Previous experience within a nursing/residential home *
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Care Team Leader *
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
