Overall Purpose of Role:

As well as having overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the US T&A function, you will also be expected to lead on departmental strategy and policy. You will be a strong and effective leader, with excellent communication and motivation skills, can plan, organise, and coordinate the service and team, whilst ensuring that key targets are consistently delivered.

Time and Attendance Manager - US Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes Time & Attendance information – Clock In/Out, Exceptions, etc.
  • Maintains T&A processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Computes employee Timesheet summary based on time records and pay rules
  • Answers staff questions about deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Coordinates requests for leave and other absences, working alongside Managers and HR
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Honours confidentiality of employees' records
  • Completes T&A reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
  • Supervises other T&A Administrators and employees as needed

Requirements

You will already have previous experience of working in a fast-paced reporting environment, a proportion of which will have been spent working in a leadership role. You will have extensive knowledge of Excel, together with Advanced IT Skills, report writing.


  • Advanced Excel knowledge, V/HOOKUPS, Pivot tables/charts, VBA(Desirable but not essential)
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient with other MS Office software (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Microsoft Power BI / Power Apps / Power Automate experience is desirable
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work on a deadline
  • Multitasking Abilities
  • Previous experience in a Time & Attendance / Payroll/ Employee Scheduling is essential
