Working in the Family Support Service you will deliver direct work with children and families with both additional and complex support needs. The main focus of the Family Support Worker role is providing support to parents in developing their parenting skills.

The post holder needs to be able to make regular and frequent journeys throughout the day to different locations around the district and County, including remote, rural locations which are inaccessible by public transport. Occasionally they will also need to transport children, young people and their families to services and appointments.
