The Assets and Property function strives to be the best in class for operational service delivery across the range of services that it delivers to its Council tenants and leaseholders. As with many landlords in recent times, there has been a strong focus on Health and Safety in particular Fire Safety. The journey continues as we strive to build on the progress made. The next milestone on that journey is to recruit to a number of key positions within the service. We are looking for high calibre individuals who relish the challenge of change management, will lead from the front, are focussed on delivering great outcomes and the best customer experience.
Responsive Repairs Manager
£46,839 - £48,819 pa (inclusive) Grade 13
As our service lead on the delivery of all responsive repair works, you will spearhead our efforts in delivering a high quality, cost effective service to our residents ensuring the successful delivery of our Asset Management Strategy. A key part of this role will be to co-ordinate the procurement and successful management of contractors delivering Repairs programme of circa £6 million annually.
£43,860 - £45,834 pa (inclusive) Grade 12
The Assets and Property team spend more than £40 million annually in maintaining, servicing and improving the Council’s housing stock. In these roles, you would be expected to build a commercial framework across the service for managing all of the contracts and ensuring that the service has embedded effective procurement and strong commercial contract management.
