Mortgage Administrator, Crewe

Salary, £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join a friendly, growing, and well-respected financial services firm situated in Crewe.

This is a newly created role which has arisen due to growth, which is expected to continue, so you will be joining a busy team, in a well-established, extremely successful and thriving firm.

You’ll thrive in a varied and rewarding role and will be taking on a range of duties, so you’ll need to have exceptional skills, both in customer liaison and administration.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with a range of requests from Mortgage Advisers, clients and Mortgage providers
  • Dealing with enquiries, and acting as the first point of contact
  • Building rapport quickly with new and existing clients, establishing needs and providing exceptional standards of service
  • Accurate and timely processing of applications
  • Liaising with providers, lenders and clients for case progression and case placement
  • Liaising with solicitors and conveyancers regarding exchange and completion dates
  • Managing review dates for existing clients
  • Obtaining illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other supporting documentation
  • Submitting new business to Mortgage provider or submitting Mortgage and Protection applications online
  • Entering details of case into client database always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Tracking new Mortgage business and current position, updating the Mortgage Advisers accordingly
  • Ensuring all new business has been checked and been signed off (if required)
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is held within the client files, meeting FCA rules and regulations on Mortgage Case Handling
  • Entering new client information and fact find details on to the database
  • Preparing and send-off authority letters
  • Inputting details of existing Mortgages and Protection and scanning documents and emails to file

The ideal candidate would have some experience in a Mortgage Administration role, but any previous experience or knowledge of Mortgages would be advantageous.

You might even be CeMap qualified and looking for the right role to take your next step in the industry. Most importantly though, you will be proactive, taking pride in all aspects of your work and will have a driven and self-motivated nature.
