Hours and length of contract: • Full Time 37.5 hours. • 7-day rota covering days and nights o Long day shifts: 07:30-20:00 o Long night shifts: 19:30- 08:00 o Early / Late shifts can also be accommodated if required • Support on a 24-hour basis therefore flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential. • 6-month minimum contract length • The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP.

Daily Duties: Responsibilities will include: • Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, a structured approach to nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. • Supervising team members and contributing to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans. • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment.
Person specification: The applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council NMC. It would be beneficial is the applicant had own transport as public transport is limited in the area.
