A day in life of an Associate Director Corporate Affairs
We are currently looking for an Associate Director Corporate Affairs to join our Corporate Afairs department with a Fixed Term Contract. Main accountabilities of this role are:
- Maintain and grow a strong corporate presence for Teva in the UK & Ireland by finding new ways to tell Teva's story both internally, externally and on our digital channels.
- Developing and implementing communications programmes and projects that build the Teva brand and profile at both a corporate level and across our commercial business units, and which support the company's key objectives.
- Working with the cluster senior leadership to grow Teva's reputation in the UK & Ireland, and support the General Manager's thought-leadership activity.
- Leading the company's corporate messaging strategy on our digital channels, tailoring our message to our diverse audiences.
- Providing communications support, expertise and advice to business stakeholders to support them in implementing their plans and achieving their objectives.
- Management of multi channel internal and external communications plans and campaigns that support the company's key objectives for selected strategically important products.
- Briefing and liaison with external design/advertising agencies for creation and support to communication plans and campaigns. Selecting/eliminating initial design concepts and progressing further, proofing, editing and ensuring correct code of practice sign off is followed.
- Supporting and developing our internal communications processes and projects to support the creation and maintenance of a highly engaged and motivated workforce.
- Act as first line responder for media queries and issues management.
- Undertaking other corporate communication and business activities.
Location: Harlow or Castleford (west Yorkshire) sites.
Do you have...?
- BA degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven work experience in the field of corporate communications
Are you...?
- Excellent communicator (oral and written)
- Project manager
- Stakeholder and relationship manager - both internal and external
- Able to cost and deliver projects within budget
- Able to work under pressure and to tight time deadlines
- Creative
- Organisation, planning and time manager
- IT Literate, including Microsoft Office
- Experience of handling media enquiries

- Occasional requirement for travel to other Teva offices and off-site meetings. This may include overnight stays
