We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager for our Integrated Facilities Corporate Real Estate Management Business Line.
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Facilities Manager to join the team located in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the locations delivery of the total FM services for a major global client account.

Role Summary:
- As the site lead post holder is responsible for the hard and soft service delivery
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to drive the performance across the location
- Develop and own the annual facilities management budgets and proactively manage the total facilities expenditure vs. budget; produce accurate budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance justification
- Ensure the overall performance of the contract and required deliverables including contract compliance, performance management against KPI's, cost savings initiatives, and customer satisfaction
- Responsible for the health, safety, & environmental aspects of the delivery of facilities management
- Manage the soft services inspections, auditing & reporting (cleaning, plants, pest, vending, kitchen supplies etc.)
- Ensure the successful implementation of portfolio-wide initiatives and programs including savings program, energy program, HSSE, playbooks, training & development.
- Have a strong analytical and problem-solving approach applying value creation / innovation across FM services / supply chain
- Ability to work in demanding environments, managing change, multiple small works projects and deadlines
- Establish effective business relationships with the customer, and to positively interact with client personnel at all levels
- Ability to review and analyse financial / business reports / data and generate innovative solutions / corrective action plans
- Ensure that Facilities activities and procedures adhere to applicable laws, policies, and best practice guidelines
- Manage and undertake lab induction for contractors
- Support the delivery of laboratory instrument servicing
- Collaborate with Sandwich Technical Support Advisors on LIS work management and EAMS asset data integrity
- Lead the collection of field service report and calibration certification from visiting service engineers; archive these records as per client procedure
- Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries; directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; issuing visitor badges
- Incoming and Outgoing Mail and Logistics, including the preparation, dispatch and receipt of equipment & instruments which are serviced, inspected, or calibrated off site
Experience Required:
- Recognised, facilities management professional qualification
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
- Experience in Facilities Management 3 years + Working knowledge of building services engineering
- Awareness of workplace health & safety
- Prior people management experience
- Client relationship management skills
