As part of our new smart working strategy, the Market Pricing Manager position can be performed as a hybrid worker, working from home approx 2 days a week in either our Central London, Weybridge or Ipswich offices depending on business requirements, the remaining to be worked at home and we are happy to talk flexible working.
Joining Axa Retail, our Pricing team has never looked so exciting, we're expanding and looking for a Market Pricing Manager to come and join us to lead our dedicated team of analysts in setting new Motor business and renewal prices to optimise commercial performance, subject to business appetite and customer treatment strategy. The role specifically sits in Motor, but applicants from all insurance pricing sectors will be considered. A key element to this role is your technical machine learning skills in Market Pricing, being able to develop technically enough to our ways of working, to therefore be able to be the last line of review in managing and developing the team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst who is looking for progression or a manager who has experience of pricing personal lines insurance but it is esential you have an insurance backgroud. You will have knowledge of customer behavioural modelling and preferable if you have peer reviewing of models with experience of optimising a personal lines portfolio.
It is advantageous that you have experience of Radar software and knowledge of Emblem, R and Python preferable.
To be successful you will understand the impact and key features of rating action, anticipate stakeholder questions and be prepared to answer them as a technical expert.
