Central Functions is formed of the teams and people that serve the entire business. These people are integral to the smooth running of the business; ensuring everyone is paid on time, that materials are sourced and arrive promptly, that we meet our legal obligations and that our health, safety, and security is safeguarded.

The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining all THG sites, ensuring that all colleagues and visitors are in a clean, safe environment while on site.

The Front of House Supervisor will oversee the Front of House customer and colleague facing operations and will directly report to Facilities Manager. The Front of House Supervisor will manage ‘lost and found’, VIP luggage, stationery orders as well as oversee day to day work of the Cleaning Supervisor and janitorial orders. The role will be based on Reception desk Office to provide day-to day front desk admin support and relief to the Receptionist based at the Office building.


  • Ensure the efficient running of the office and Reception
  • Manage online and paper filing systems
  • Record office expenditure and manage their budget
  • Maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
  • Oversee the training and induction of new staff
  • Cover for absences, annual leave, peaks in workload, welfare and meal breaks of the Reception team
  • Delegate work to Reception staff and manage their workload and output
  • Promote staff development and training
  • Write reports for line management and deliver presentations
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Review and update health and safety policies and ensure they're observed
  • Ensure data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data
  • Manage ‘lost and found’ facilities
  • Manage VIP luggage hold facilities
  • Make sure meeting rooms are tidy, well presented, supplied with stationery and prepared for meeting sessions
  • Work closely with FM and Post Manager to ensure smooth distribution and collection of post
  • Work closely with Cleaning Supervisor to ensure good standards of housekeeping are maintained
  • Report any facilities related issued to the FM
