Responsible for providing best in class customer service to both internal and external customers. 5 day week Mon to Fri - 10am to 6 pm or 8.30am to 5pm. You would need to work in the office while training, when complete you can choose to work from home or a mixture of the two.
Working with operational team, ensure the required levels of operational service are achieved paying particular attention to key clients.
Proactively monitor vehicle arrival times ensuring transport systems updated in live environment.
Accurately record any customer service related issues in Tops, detailing the problem, recovery solution and responsible parties.
Communicate effectively with both internal and external Customers, pre advising delays, plan for recovery and revised arrival time.
Ensuring that all customer issues are fully resolved and feedback provided.
Production of customer specific performance reports within specified timescales.
Monitoring supplier service levels escalating concerns to Operations and Intermodal Manager.
Ensuring timely maintenance of supplier Key Performance Indicators.
Your Skills and Experiences
Desire to deliver best in class customer service.
Excellent written and oral skills and confident liaising with customers and colleagues.
Good industry knowledge of Seafreight and UK container transport operations.
Good UK geography knowledge.
Pro-active positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
Good organisation skills and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
