Summary;

As the Project Manager/Senior BA you will work within the i90 Legacy Migration programme and will manage and own the delivery of various activities which span multiple workstreams. Working closely with the programme manager and the wider business they would collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure good customer outcomes.

You’ll be accountable for planning and facilitating sessions for any aspect of the project including problem resolution, design, analysis and planning. You’ll actively represents the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business and provide accurate and timely reports.

Additional responsibilities/accountabilities;

  1. Support the engineering of data, management information and the analysis of data to inform the migration approach and plan.
  2. Accurately and efficiently document business requirements / user stories in AXA tool of choice.
  3. Support proposals and plans to achieve the business objectives and deliver the mapping and impact assessment of any new/changing process.
  4. Applies appropriate disciplines of planning, resourcing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, risk, issue and dependency management.
  5. Take ownership and responsibility of defined tasks through to completion.
  6. Develop deep understanding of the business and actively contribute to the design of the migration approach
  7. Adhere to the project communications plan, ensuring it is targeted appropriately to the stakeholder and project audience.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract, location is flexible but occasional travel to the office wil be required.

We’re looking for someone with demonstratable experience of working on large scale programmes within financial services, if you’re a collaborative analyst with demonstrable experience of engaging with business teams to drive change and is a team player who recognises the value of collaboration we want to hear from you.

Further Knowledge/skills:

  • Ability to adapt and reprioritise quickly to ensure that any emerging risks are appropriately managed
  • Exceptional networking and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence and exercise good judgement
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to build successful relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work with large datasets in a variety of tools
  • Maintains up to date understanding of industry best practices
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to understand the ‘big picture’

Experience:

  • Proven decision-making ability.
  • Experience of working withing the Commercial insurance market with a good understanding of how insurance products work
  • Experience in migration project would be desirable
  • Experience with understanding and translating complex business requirements
  • Problem management / resolution
  • Remote team-working

Education:

• Degree level
