Set in over 180 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is home to one of the most important modern plant collections in the world. With three separate and unique Catering Outlets, including the brand-new fine dining Garden Restaurant and Tea Rooms, there is somewhere to suit every taste, and every budget.
We are seeking enthusiastic full and part time Waiting Staff. You will be keen to learn and will gain experience in all aspects of kitchen work. Working in either our new waitress service Garden restaurant and tea rooms, Pavilion counter assisted service restaurant or Tilia Tree Cafe, you will assist the Catering Team with the provision of Hot or Cold Food to the highest of standards. You must maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety. Catering at The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is a seven days a week operation, alternate weekend and occasional evening shifts will be required.
Under the direction of the Line Manager, deliver and serve food to customers at the correct time as well as carrying out general cleaning duties.
Essential knowledge skills and experience:
Physically able to lift service and kitchen equipment
Desirable knowledge skills and experience:
Experience of working in a relevant catering environment
