About the opportunity
To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for Project Managers with varying levels of experience to join our established and thriving water teams in the South West. Whether you are an assistant project manager or have experience of managing complex, high value portfolios, we have a role for you!
You will help us deliver projects that make a difference to local communities and the environment, for clients in major public and private sector organisations including the Environment Agency, local authorities and water companies. You will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities and development.
About you
Whatever your level of experience you will be commercially astute with a strong understanding of services in the Water Environment business and are able to drive growth through commercially viable innovation, growing sales and excellent delivery
Here's What You'll Need:
- High quality degree relevant to the water environment
- Good understanding of the technical work undertaken in the water environment sector
- Able to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships
- Demonstrable knowledge of working with private and public sector clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven project management (or assistant project management) experience in environmental/water sector
- Chartered or Incorporated through a relevant Professional Institution
- APM Project Management Qualification or PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Ability to use Primavera and/or Microsoft Project to write and manage project schedules
- Proven ability of leading and winning new tender opportunities
- Proven ability of working under a range of contract forms, in particular NEC
