Human Resources Officer – Support Horizons
Salary: Depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week - with the possibility of flexible hours and some remote working
We are seeking a highly motivated HR professional to play a pivotal role in our organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position offers an ideal opportunity to develop your experience in a lead position and to gain further qualifications.
Support Horizons is a Community Interest Company who support adults with learning disabilities in Wokingham, Bracknell and Reading.
Our 60 staff support work with around 100 clients with anything from personal care to accessing the community, helping them to live the lives they choose. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a not-for-profit organisation who really make a difference to those we support and their families.
Covers the following main areas of responsibility, either directly or via delegated management: -
The HR Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly. They are responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company runs to its maximum productivity.
The post holder is expected to harness a working environment which encourages honesty, integrity, and unity. To achieve this, they will have strong leadership and excellent problem- solving skills along with good communication.
