Full-time/Part-time permanent position: Not Remote (Based in Southport)
We are looking for 2 part time or 1 full time counsellor (s) to join our EAP Team. We are seeking professional, hard-working individuals with excellent communication, organisational and computer skills. The key responsibilities of this role include providing an efficient telephone counselling service, triage to determine the most appropriate form of support (advice / signposting / counselling), providing brief therapy solutions, one off emotional support and guidance (including for distressed individuals), conducting clinical assessments and signposting to specialised support services as well as structured telephone counselling sessions.
You will come into contact with a wide range of individuals and presenting issues and be required to determine the most appropriate support for the caller’s needs as well as providing “in the moment support”.
·Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Counselling & minimum of 150 counselling hours
·Registered membership with a professional association – preferably BACP
·Previous assessment, crisis intervention and short-term counselling experience (including “in the moment”)
·Training / experience in brief solution focussed counselling
·EAP experience an advantage
·Experience in video/online counselling beneficial
Full time £25,000 pa or pro rata part time
