An exciting fixed term contract has arisen in the Pontypridd area to cover a period of maternity. My client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for approximately 10 months.
The successful candidate will play a significant role in managing the purchase ledger function for the organisation and supporting the finance team with their workload.
Working for this renowned organisation, the suitable candidate will have previous experience of managing or an assisting with a busy period ledger function and dealing with the process from start to finish.
Key responsibilities will include:
1) Processing invoices/ credit notes – approx. 400 per month
2) Statement reconciliations
3) BACS run
4) Petty cash reconciliation
5) Posting DD’s
6) Checking settlements, cash back and refunds

The suitable candidate will possess strong Excel skills and be committed and dedicated to getting the job done. Previous exposure of working within a similar role would be highly advantageous. The role is working in a busy office environment therefore you must be able to prioritise your workload and ensure a high level of accuracy at all times. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm although my client can be flexible with start/finish times. The role will be office based and the company adheres to all social distancing measures.
