Where does this role fit within Ted's Team? This newly created role will drive, implement and monitor a finance-led control remediation programme to improve the risk and control environment across the Ted Baker Plc group.
Reports to: Group Treasurer and Head of Risk
Main responsibilities • Establish, implement and drive delivery of the internal controls remediation programme across the Ted Baker Plc group. • Report the progress of the programme and key control information to senior finance management and key stakeholders, including the Audit Committee and external auditors. • Create and lead steering committee for the internal controls remediation programme and provide guidance to function leaders in implementing control improvements. • Working with external auditors and consultants to identify any deficiencies or weaknesses in control environment and demonstrating any progress made against the programme. • Working collaboratively with function leaders in implementing control remediation programme, identifying pragmatic solutions to deficiencies or weaknesses. • Leading the extension of the controls remediation programme to additional business cycles, including walkthroughs and identification of control deficiencies and weaknesses. • Monitoring and testing of controls, to ensure controls are operating effectively • Lead and motivate the wider finance department through effective cross functional relationships. • Promote continuous improvement of controls across the group with key stakeholders. • Establish and maintain supply chain security policies and management control standards. • Performing ongoing audits of suppliers to assess the level of security risk across the supply chain. • Assist the Group Treasurer and Head of Risk in the identification, assessment and management of risks to support an effective risk management culture.

• ACA qualified accountant. • Experience in working in/with large, complex, multinational organisations. • Proven project management skills in delivering controls remediation programmes. • Experience in assessing, enhancing and implementing internal controls
