What you'll do
This position requires relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, to ensure our business goals are achieved in an accurate and timely fashion. You will need to identify opportunity and review data to identify unattached Installed Base and drive the "cover the uncovered," aligning with the Portfolio Sellers to expand our Core offerings at point of sale and with the Renewal Manager (RM) for upsell opportunity during the renewal event.
The Service Seller Core (SSC) is a customer facing sales role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on our Core Offerings (~80%), while maintaining responsibility for identifying Strategic Opportunities (~20%)
- Accountable for driving New Annual Technical Services business within their customer base
- Identify opportunity, review data, and monitor account spending to identify unattached Installed Base and drive "cover the uncovered" focusing on coverage, contract consolidation and co termination.
- Align with the Portfolio Seller to expand Core offerings at point of sale and with the Renewal Manager for upsell opportunity during a renewal
- Engage with Service Seller Premium to align effort on mutual accounts

Success is directly associated with crafting strong and meaningful relationships with the Portfolio Sellers and attainment of sales targets from net-new services growth in your assigned accounts. You will collaborate with the extended account team: Account Manager, Sales Engineering,
Solutions Architects, Software and Service Renewal Managers, Services Specialist Core, Delivery, Legal, Finance, and our Partner ecosystem to develop services strategies that directly align with our Client's needs and drive new opportunities to closure.
Who you are
- You have 3+ years experience in business development, services delivery or service creation
- You have strong expertise in closing sales campaigns.
- You possess extraordinary interpersonal skills with proven track record of building, growing and sustaining CxO 'trusted advisor' status.
- You manage opportunity pipeline proactively, scouring internal and external network for openings to increase opportunity value; accelerating campaigns; demonstrating ingenuity, providing deal-based ideas.
- Ability to inspect, transform, and model data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and use to support decision-making process.
- You have high degree of integrity, trust, transparency, equanimity and set team success as the priority.
- Willing to contribute to a team whilst still able to demonstrate individual responsibility for delivering desired outcomes.
- Strong focus on business & sales outcomes.
- Develops and maintains an advanced understanding of the market and technology and utilizes their knowledge to address solution gaps and customer needs
- Creates business opportunities through mostly new accounts with medium to large semi- complex contracts
- Works mostly independently and on some teams to complete projects using judgment and experience.
- Excels at expanding cross-functional partnerships by collaborating across teams
- Leader in sales calls with account team and strong presenter of technical solutions to peers, managers, and management team
