At AXA Health, we’re looking for talented Sales Consultants to join our highly successful sales team in Bournemouth on a permanent, full time basis. As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be contacting customers who have enquired online into Private Healthcare Insurance. You’ll listen to our customers’ needs and provide suitable cover options offering tailored solutions. As part of this role, you’ll need to be comfortable having sensitive conversations and taking an empathetic approach as required. In addition, you’ll be required to translate factual and sometimes complex information in a simple way, converting these enquiries into sales through building rapport and active listening skills.
Working Hours & Hybrid Working:
After an initial training period of three months, you'll have the opportunity to work in the way which suits you best - whether that be full time in the Bournemouth office, full time at home or a blend of both. Work life balance is incredibly important at AXA Health so we offer standard working hours of 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, with no requirement to work weekends or bank holidays. We aim to give everyone the means to enjoy life outside of work, as well as the time to do so.
Progression is an integral part of AXA Health, so as well as offering a competitive starting salary, the opportunity for progression is realistic. We offer a starting salary of between £28k-£34k, depending on experience, plus an on target annual bonus opportunity of 12.5%, up to 20% for going above and beyond. Each year, your performance will be assessed and providing you hit the required sales and customer goals, you can move through the eight salary bandings - a maximum of two levels per year. When you join us, you’ll be given extensive training on our products and tools to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Training starts with a four-week programme and after this, you’ll join our academy team where you’ll receive one-to-one coaching sessions, role plays, quizzes and live listening. Our sessions will help to motivate and inspire you as well as support you with your sales techniques.
