Smart Solutions Swansea are seeking a Payroll Assistant for a large public body based in the Carmarthen town area. This role is initially until the end of March 2022 with potential of an extension. The role is to assist in providing a comprehensive payroll service for the organisation and further the achievement of the organisation’s objectives.
Payroll Assistant summary of duties:
Assist in the processing of all financial transactions in relation to payroll.
Ensure that all computerised sickness records are kept accurate and up to date and comply with statutory legislation.
Answering and resolving enquiries, both verbally and in writing from employees.
Payroll Assistant skills/requirements for role:
Previous experience of working in a financial department, ideally payroll.
Recognised accountancy qualification.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good telephone manner and ICT skills.
