£9.50 Per Hour + Holiday Pay
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced purchase ledger clerk based in the Heads of the Valleys. The position is being offered on a potential temporary to permanent capacity and the successful candidate will join a friendly accounts payable team. The successful candidate will be required to input high volume invoices and deal with associated tasks. You will be responsible for dealing with queries and general administration tasks in order to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
The role would suit an individual that has worked within purchase ledger previously and is used to dealing with high volume invoice processing/data entry. My client will consider applications from AAT studiers, who possess experience of working within an office environment, whilst possessing a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Reporting into the Accountant on a daily basis you will be required to cover the following tasks:
1)High volume input of invoices
2)Dealing with supplier queries
3)Dealing with statement reconciliations
4)Reconciliation of stock invoices
5)Prepare and process monthly sterling and currency bank payments
1)Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
2)High level of accuracy
3)Previous purchase ledger experience
