We are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is keen in becoming a Teacher in the near future. The school we are representing have their own Teacher Training programme where they can help support graduates become Teachers. The role would be to work as a Learning Support Assistant for 1 full Academic year and if you feel teaching is the right route for you, the school would support you in becoming a qualified Teacher.

For this role, you will possess the following: - Have a Graduate Degree - Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant - The knowledge to improve the behaviour and well-being of individual pupils - Support pupils who are experiencing learning difficulties - Be able to establish meaningful positive relationships quickly - Support pupils inside and outside the classroom - Help pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies - The Right to Work in the UK - An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us - Two professional child related references
