This is a great opportunity to be part of a newly established team and assist with the coordination of drivers coming into site and leaving to conduct deliveries to stores across the country. Main duties will include:
Despatch and de-brief drivers, ensuring all movements are captured and recorded for commercial purposes.
Collate required information and join any meetings/calls for operational efficiency
Complete weekly reports for the Transport manager
Maintain an internal system with all required records
File related documentation
Support the wider team to ensure all work is completed per shift
Identify and resolve operational issues and where appropriate escalate to the Transport Manager
Applicants must be able to work with limited supervision, use initiative to solve problems, liaise with drivers, office staff, third party clients and others in a professional manner and work well within a team.
Hours – Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm Initially working on a temporary assignment but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
