This role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier by managing a successful team in the LCS organization. Our focus is on driving growth by supplying Genetic and Clinical Division technologies to diagnostics and life science customers, on a commercial supply basis for the development & manufacturing of their technologies.
Position responsibilities
· Lead a team of field-based business development professionals and empower them to exceed their revenue goals in the commercial supply space
· Build and execute go-to-market strategies that align to those of our business unit partners
· Grow strategic plans for key customers, market segments, and the EMEA countries to ensure long term growth and profitability of the LCS business
· Broker multiyear, multimillion-dollar commercial supply contracts with key customers in the diagnostic and life science markets
· Develop and implement processes and standard methodologies across the organization including CRM, training, forecasting, planning, compensation, and sales process
· Facilitate sophisticated global deals and projects between customers and our internal support organizations while acting as an internal champion to ensure accurate execution
· Create/implement regional plan for the business development team and align the revenue targets and goals to the objectives of the Genetic and Clinical businesses.
· Role reports into Global commercial Director.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education
· Requires a bachelor's degree in any life science with an advanced degree and/or MBA preferred.
Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of proven experience, including lead development, negotiation of supply agreements, sales funnel management, product development/commercialization and competitive market research.
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams both internally and externally. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations required.
· Ability to interact with all levels of company employees as well as frequent interaction with potential partners/alliances.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Understanding of key markets including diagnostics and life science tools and an ability
· Develop and execute the regional forecast mechanism
· Functions effectively to lead and develop a high-performance team with strong team building skills, inspirational leadership and the ability to resolve conflict.
· Ability demonstrating strong analytical and business planning skills
· Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations required
