We are looking for qualified Osteopaths to join the BodySolve family.
Osteopathy is a functional method of diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical complaints. Utilising various physical techniques osteopathy aims to assist the skeletal, muscular, nervous, soft tissue, ligaments and the connective structures of the body into operating correctly.
Without the use of invasive methods such as drugs and surgery – osteopathy stands out as a leading holistic approach to curing the body of an ailment. Wherever possible osteopaths use hands on methods to manipulate the structures of the body into the correct direction, position and alignment. An Osteopath aims to achieve this through the use of soft tissue massage and technical adjustments, skeletal mobilisation, stretching, functional exercises and mobility.
As well as completing 4 years at university, when qualified osteopaths are required to hold an Osteopathic licence enabling them to be registered with the Osteopathic Council, the governing body for osteopathy. In order to remain on this register Osteopaths are required to have professional indemnity insurance and must meet set professional standards, as well as maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements annually.
