The role can be based in either Chatham or Wolverhampton with a hybrid working pattern.
OSB Group is a leading specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market. Our specialist lending is supported by our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank retail savings franchises. The robust savings platforms through retail deposits is further supplemented through diversification of funding from sophisticated securitisation platforms. OSB’s unique cost-efficient operating model is supported by our wholly-owned subsidiary OSBIndia.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will take responsibility for group and subsidiary level financial reporting and control, statutory, securitisation reporting, banking operations and the Treasury back office for the Group. This includes managing a highly skilled Finance team at the Group’s South East head office, a Finance team at Wolverhampton, a Finance team at the Bank’s offshore service centre in India and Financial Control teams based at subsidiaries.
In addition to this you will oversee relationships with our key support networks, the external auditors and system providers.
The role is exceptionally broad, offering a variety of intellectual challenges and we therefore anticipate that you will already demonstrate a successful track record of professional development and success in financial control within Financial Services.
