To meet our current UK business needs and future development aspirations we are looking for Project Managers with a range of experiences who will lead and manage the provision of technical consultancy services to major clients within our Water Sector Business, delivering a range of multi-disciplinary projects up to £3 million in value. About You: As a Project Manager within our Water Sector business you will undertake a key role in delivering our client requirements. You will agree and control budgets for projects, escalation points, key milestones and targets including time, cost, quality and safety to ensure that objectives are achieved in line with programme plans. As a proactive leader, you have experience of managing teams to drive high levels of performance in a complicated environment. Through your experience you will be able to demonstrate your expertise in contract management, client relationship management, team and resource management, risk management and programme control. As a technical leader you deliver complicated work, train and develop more junior staff and take responsibility for review and assurance of others' deliverables. You are commercially astute with a strong understanding of services in the Water Utilities business and are able to drive growth through commercially viable innovation, targeted sales and excellent delivery. With a sound understanding of project management principles and application, you will have: - A good understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation - High quality degree relevant to the environment, water, or construction sectors - Working towards or Chartered or Incorporated through a relevant Professional Institution - Good understanding of the technical work undertaken in the environmental/water sector - Able to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships - Demonstrable knowledge of working with private and public sector clients - Proven ability of working under a range of contract forms, in particular NEC3/4 - Demonstrable knowledge of undertaking earned value analysis on projects - Demonstrable knowledge of writing project quality and delivery plans Why Jacobs?
