The Global Fleet & Product (GFP) Last Mile team within Amazon Logistics is looking for an experience Program Manager to drive process efficiencies and optimize the in-life de-fleeting, refurbishment and re-deployment steps of a fast growing fleet of Amazon branded vehicles used for Last Mile deliveries across Europe. A core part of doing this in the most efficient way possible is the turnaround times of our branded fleet of Last Mile vehicles to be re-deployed to our delivery service partners across Europe. Amazon is continually striving to innovate and as part of this, looking at developing strong mechanisms, cost and efficiency controls, and driving engagement with our external partners to achieve the same for our ever growing Last Mile fleet of vehicles.

In this role you will own creating the roadmap, dive deep in to existing processes, influence external partners and create efficiencies that will have needle-moving savings impact, which will ensure Amazon’s Last Mile operations run as lean as possible. You will define requirements, identify and develop solutions leveraging both internal and external capabilities in this role.

· Cost and re-deployment management of idle vehicles
· Understand the status quo and challenge it (as Amazon always does/should).
· Understand cost buckets, improvise to enable financial and operational savings, both for Amazon and our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs).
· Develop the roadmap and prioritize key milestones.
· Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision and are aligned.
· Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify inter-dependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership.
· Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success and mechanisms to detect issues before they become risks.


· Completed Bachelor's Degree or similar
· Experience in process improvement, creating efficiencies
· Experience in cost management/control/savings
· Proven experience in project/program management.
· Experience overseeing roadmap definition and execution.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English


· Lean/Six Sigma certification
· Experience in fleet and fleet cost management
· Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
· Current or past experience in automotive, OEMs, automotive car rental companies is highly preferable
· Experience in core disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality management.
· Fluency in one or more European languages
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
