Your new school
A Wolverhampton school is look for a Maths Teacher to join their team on a long-term, temporary basis 4 days a week. This school has gone through a period of really positive change over the last 2 years, with a new Headteacher taking over in 2019. Since this change in leadership, there has been an emphasis on setting and maintaining expectations for students. Students are encouraged to do always work towards their maximum potential, with the importance of education in shaping their futures being emphasised to them. The Headteacher is an active member of the school team and is a present leadership figure for staff, always willing to offer support when needed.
The school is located within 4 miles of Wolverhampton city centre, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport. The school is also within a 10 minute drive of the M54 making it easily commutable from outside the local area.
Your new role
This would be a part-time role, acting on a temporary basis. This role would require an experienced maths teacher who is able to deliver engaging lessons to help the students' progress towards their goals. As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students' progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you'll need to succeed
