This is an onsite position located in Uxbridge.

We are now hiring experienced Sales Development people to join our brand-new Digital Sales team in the UK, to uncover and develop potential new clients. You will be responsible for growing the UK technology and software business through the development new logo customer accounts, driving for high value opportunities, through developing of relationships with identified target customers.
- The UK Digital New Logo role or Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for growing the UK business through the development of new logo customer accounts
- This role carries an opportunity target and pipeline value
- Accountable for developing and implementing an appropriate coverage strategy within the identified target customer accounts
The scope of the role includes responsibilities for prospecting, and nurturing relationships through lead generation activities including utilizing social and other engagement platforms, with the aim of delivering qualified opportunities to the aligned Direct sales account managers for Xerox's Digital Solutions and Managed Services portfolio. This role will use influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills to prospect and develop relationships with new relevant contacts with the defined accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research company and contact information online and via appropriate tools
- Call planning and calling activities to generate new opportunities with potential prospects
- Developing new business relationships through to qualified sales cycle
- Understand the key drivers for the marketplace and be able to quickly and effectively establish sales credibility with professionals within the sector
- Understand the core processes underpinning the customer's business and be able to probe effectively for areas of current dissatisfaction and potential opportunity areas
- Understand the key competitive features of the Xerox offering, and advantages, and be able to articulate differentiators and justify why the customer should be considering a Xerox solution
- A collaborative relationship with the field client managers to enable effective hand-over of qualified leads
Candidate Experience:
As a minimum candidates are required to have demonstrated:
- Experience of selling IT software solutions and challenging companies/business to think differently desirable but not essential
- UK citizenship or passport
- Building helpful, positive relationships with customer
- Self-starter and ability to work on own
- Emotionally robust, enthusiastic, and positive
- Tenacious, disciplined, and able to follow through with actions over a period of time
- Excellent Business Acumen and Relationship Skills
- Clarity and confidence in verbal communication
- Effective listening, and written business communication skills
- Commercially aware
Additional desirable skills would be an advantage :
- Knowledge of Xerox products and offering portfolio
- Experience in an outbound virtual environment
