Matchtech is currently recruiting for a Management Reporting Accountant on behalf of a large MOD contractor.

Management Reporting Accountant- 8 month contract - Portsmouth - £33.00ph UMB or £26.07ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

This role requires you to obtain a basic disclosure along with employment reference checks before starting.

The Role

As a Management Reporting Accountant you will provide support to the Financial Management Reporting team by mainly processing financial projects actual and forecast data. Your daily tasks will include supporting Period End Mgt Reporting activities, supporting IBP data processing, processing Projects Actual and Forecast data, inventory Reconciliation and production of the Project Balance Sheet and Analysis Review Report.

Essential Skills

• Management Reporting or Project Accounting expertise

• Microsoft Excel processing skills

• Relevant accounting qualification

• Strong analytical/problem solving/decision making skills
