Your field of responsibility

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role:

  • An exciting opportunity to implement a strategic approach to revenue and expense risk stress testing as part of the business risk assessment in ICAAP including building out our financial planning and risk/return analysis capabilities
  • Responsibility for components of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process for the UK Investment Banking Entities
  • A dynamic environment, ensuring new and evolving regulatory expectations on ICAAP and stress testing are embedded within the risk management framework
  • The chance to coordinate with various risk and finance functions to produce risk updates in high quality standard, while meeting agreed deadlines
  • Become part of the wider forward-thinking Enterprise Risk Management team collaborating on other deliverables, such as Risk Identification, Scenarios Design, Stress Testing and Risk Appetite
  • Take ownership of ad hoc regulatory responses and deliverables including identifying areas of process improvement and automation

We are looking for:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of UK ICAAP requirements, PRA capital rules and the various associated risk modelling methodologies in Pillar 1 and Pillar 2
  • Proven experience of developing, implementing and/or operating revenue stress testing models (e.g. for Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review)
  • Hands-on previous involvement with statistical techniques used for stress testing (i.e. regression analysis) and typical model assumptions and limitations
  • Good understanding of risk management concepts, e.g. risk identification, risk appetite framework, scenario analysis and stress testing
  • Previous role in enterprise risk management or across different risk types (e.g. market/credit/operational/liquidity risk)
  • Ability to successfully deliver multiple projects taking ownership while working under tight deadlines. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in project and/or stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and familiarity with programming languages (in particular R or Phyton) is a strong plus
  • Bachelors’ Degree in economics/finance; FRM/CFA/PRM qualification desirable or similar
