Job Description:
What's the role?
As an IT Business Analyst, you are responsible for identifying and defining the business needs of their clients and stakeholder and helping to determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems. Your work is typically within a specific business area. You may be part of an IT project development environment or an individual contributor at the business interface.
Your tasks as an IT Business Analyst would include the following:
- Has experience in working with the business; understands a single operating unit's structure, functions, and processes.
- Understands the industry and business positioning among competitors.
- Proficiency in operational activities and business strategy.
- Identifies the main stakeholders. Gaining proficiency in stakeholder management activities.
- Attends local/regional & global IT BA meetings and webcasts.
- Utilizes best practices and provides feedback on existing processes.
- Participates in industry IT BA related activities such as IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) webcasts and/or chapter meetings. Broad and extensive knowledge, often in own specialized field, to provide interpretive, advisory, or facilitating services for the use of others to achieve results.
- Provides coaching to Junior BAs.
What we need from you
We are looking for professionals with the following skills:
- Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of the technology landscape including current and future developments and the most commonly available products and integrated solutions.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts and data/process analysis and modeling.
- Opinions valued by business interface and plays a prominent role in business partner meetings.
- Able to act as a focal point for a specialized area (technical or business); able to lead teams while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrates a concern and aptitude for considering the user's perspective in IT development. and has a deep understanding of user aspects of interactive systems.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, benefit, and risk management.
- Has a comprehensive knowledge of the technical specialism of IT Business Analysis. Takes a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail.
- Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
- Agile project experience.
- Experience analyzing the alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly.
- Ability to learn different Business Processes quickly.
